Preservation Society was founded in 2011 by sisters-in-law Kristin Taylor and Chandra McLaughlin. After growing much of their own organic produce at home, they fell in love with preserving their favorite flavors and memories of the seasons.
Preservation Society is the next step for Chandra's & Kristin's hobby, turned obsession, turned love of jam, marmalade, pickles, and preserving. Their mission is to produce a delicious and creative variety of preserves with careful crafting, wonderful ingredients, enthusiasm and love. They use seasonal, local, mostly-organic ingredients ~ fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices ~ to create adventurous blends with roots in familiar favorites like Strawberry Jam with Lemon Thyme, Jalapeño-Lime Jelly, and Blueberry-Pink Grapefruit with Tahitian Vanilla.
They have a rapidly growing following and are gaining increasing recognition for their beautiful jams. Kristin's Lemon Cucumber Pickles won first place at the Los Angeles Eat Real Festival 2011.
